The Buck 245 Matt Would Go tactical is designed from a knife that Matthew J Leathers designed while in the US Navy Seals. Special Warfare Operator First Class (SEAL) Matthew J. Leathers was a highly decorated combat veteran with numerous awards. He was lost at sea in February 2013 during a free diving exercise. In recognition of his courage and devotion to duty the leadership of Seal Delivery Vehicle Team One coined the phrase, Matt Would Go. As a tribute to his courage as well as his fellow SEALS Buck has partnered with Matt's father, Tim, to bring this knife to the market. A percentage of the net sales of this knife will benefit the MattWouldGo LLC which in turn donates to the Navy SEAL Foundation.
This great knife has a 4" tactical drop point blade made from 5160 steel. The handle is made of custom multi-color Micarta. A textured Kydex sheath with a TEK-LOK belt clip is included. This knife is proudly made in the USA!
